A brand-new opportunity aboard a beautiful 44m 2022 private motor yacht based in the South of France. The boat has just changed hands and the new owners are building their team from the ground up, so this is a rare chance to shape a galley exactly how you want it from day one. The owners are a warm, down-to-earth family who genuinely appreciate good food and look after their crew. Private use only, no charter. We are looking for a confident head chef who can run a solo galley to a high standard, cooking for owners, family and guests with crew meals as part of the day. Previous yacht experience preferred. Valid ENG1 or equivalent medical, STCW Basic Safety Training and Food Hygiene Level 2 or equivalent required. Male and female applicants welcome.
Head chef needed for a private 80m motor yacht, joining ASAP in Italy or Monaco. Simple food done really well, with a big focus on seafood — whole baked fish and similar — and soup daily. Not too many desserts or dairy: healthy cooking with minimal cream, butter and fried food. Temp to start, with real potential for a 2:2 rotation and a permanent role for the right person. Send your CV and a food portfolio when you apply.
Experienced freelance professionals wanted for a 5-week private trip cruising the South of France, starting in one week. Five positions: 1 x Head Chef (previous large-yacht Head Chef experience essential), 1 x Senior Sous Chef, 3 x Junior Sous Chefs. Full details on vessel, itinerary and package provided during the interview process.
Experienced American charter chef needed for a 37m motor yacht. Summer season in New England, winter in the Bahamas. Crew of 5. The owner is a strict vegan; no other dietary restrictions or allergies on board. Seasonal, but open to permanent for the right fit. Exterior experience a bonus.
Skilled, adaptable private chef to travel year-round with a family between their three homes. All daily meals using clean, high-quality ingredients tailored to the family's dietary goals, plus elevated dinners, tasting menus and event catering. Menu planning to macro guidelines, market sourcing, pantry and wine fridge management. 5-day week, 2–3 months off annually. Live-in housing and all travel covered. 5+ years in restaurants, yachting, private households or fine dining. English essential; Czech, Spanish or French a plus.
A 55m charter yacht is seeking an additional chef for a 31-day Mediterranean itinerary (5 July – 5 August), joining in Corfu / Sarande and finishing in Athens. A full-time chef is already on board covering crew food — you will work alongside them and look after the 4 guests. You will sign on as a guest and stay in a guest cabin. The family are widely travelled and appreciate high-quality food: not elaborate every day, but exceptionally well-prepared, relaxed, home-style cooking. Refined comfort food, not fine-dining theatre. ENG1, STCW and Food Safety certificates required.

Founded by Dean Harrison, an active working yacht chef. Every placement decision is made by someone who has lived the lifestyle — no recruiters who've never left dry land.
We only list positions we've personally assessed. Salaries, conditions, crew culture — if it doesn't meet the standard, it doesn't make it onto our board.
We work directly with captains and management companies — not through layers of agencies. Your CV lands with the right person, fast.
We set expectations clearly on both sides. No surprise contracts, no overpromising. Just honest, straightforward placements that last.
